To lean more, Click here.           KAO MING VERTICAL MACHINING CENTER MODEL KMC-1200DV Featuring: The KMC-1200DV High Speed Vertical Machining Center consisting of a heavily ribbed and stress relieved Meehanite cast body. This machine incorporates an Arch-Bridge design, whereby the machining forces are dissipated over the 2 columns with a stationary crossrail, which ensures both maximum stability and rigidity. The X, Y, and Z Axis are able to perform extremely high rapid speeds while maintaining maximum rigidity. This is accomplished by utilizing a “state of the art” roller style linear guide way. By utilizing rollers rather than balls, the pressure is spread out across a wider surface, thereby greatly minimizing the amount of deflection from heavy loads. All three axes are supported by the two superior roller type guide ways. The ballscrew is centrally located to assure table accuracy and is supported at each end with preloaded thrust bearings and pretensioned ballscrew with recirculating ball nut. The Axis accuracy is enhanced by inner cooled ballscrews which greatly minimize thermal expansion during high speed machining. The table has a total of 7 T slots for easy fixturing. The maximum load capacity is 3,300 lbs with a working area of 47.24” x 27.56”. The machine features a built-in spindle motor. The spindle and motor are of an intregal design whereby the spindle is directly driven by the motor. The powerful 35 HP built-in spindle motor is able to perform high speed as well as high torque operations. This is possible due to the specially designed double wound motor. The low end windings provide a torque rate of 518 ft.-lbs for heavy cutting applications. The high end windings provide up to 12,000 rpm for the applications requiring superior finishes. The spindle is able to accomplish these high speeds by incorporating a total of 4 lower ceramic angular contact thrust bearings with a single upper support bearing as well. Fully enclosed working environment with an extra wide door for ease in loading and unloading oversized parts. The enclosure is also equipped with a high pressure chip removal flush system. The 12 tool carousel automatic tool changer is extremely reliable. By using assigned pots, storing tools with larger diameters is simplified.
